Church of the Good Shepard
(Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian combined diocese) x
The mountain ranges of the Southern Alps and the striking turquoise
color of Lake Tekapo create a spectacular background for this small
stone church. The church was built in 1935 as a memorial to the
pioneering farmers of Mackenzie County, New Zealand South Island. Today
the chapel is a New Zealand landmark, photographed the world over.
