Otago lake district, South Island
Otago is a very hilly and dry region with lots of sheep farms. The
town and lake of note in this region is Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu,
respctively. They are not only noted for their scenery, but also for
skiing at Coronet Peak, whitewater rafting and bungy jumping. Not far
from Queenstown is the historic town of Arrowtown.
