NGC 1333 in Perseus
NGC1333 (aka: Embryo Nebula)is a dust-rich region where bright stars illuminate the surrounding clouds of gas and dust, creating a blue reflection nebula.  It is found in the constellation Perseus about 1,000 light-years from Earth.  The region contains stars that are still embedded in the molecular cloud in which they formed.  This cropped image is a joint project of James Foster and Michael Stecker using a Sky-Watcher 250P 10-inch f/4 Newtonian telescope and color camera for an 11.8 hour exposure.
