A camel is a popular way to tour the Great Pyramids of Giza about 12 miles southwest of Cairo.  Khufu (Cheops) on the right is he oldest and largest
and was erected about 2690 B.C.  At the center capped by smooth stone is Kheophren (Cheophren ), built by Kufu's son about 2650 B.C.
The smaller Menkaru (Mycerinus) on the left was built about 2600 B.C.
