Biography
Born and raised in
the Wairarapa region
of New Zealand's
North Island (north of
Wellington -- the capital),
I have always been interested in the night sky. After joining the Phoenix
Astronomical Society in 1998,
I become a keen astrophotographer and subsequently built a small roll-off
roof observatory in my backyard. I regularly give talks about various
aspects astrophotography and have also been recently involved in the
construction of Stonehenge-Aotearoa.
Areas of interest
I enjoy capturing wide
field images particulary of the southern night sky as well the occasional
Aurora Australis.
