 Biography
      I'm a
director in bank IT-Services and my biggest wish would be a day with
36 hours.  I became interested in astronomy at age ten after seeing a
German book with a large Orion Nebula on the cover.  In 1980 I became
a member of the public obsersatory Hagen in Germany. Due to lack of money
I started with visual observations of Jupiter and Saturn. In 1996 I build
my first CCD Camera (Cookbook CB245). The way was now open to catch very
      dim objects like comets.

      Observing site
      My
home is very light polluted so a mobile observatory is used about 50 miles
from home.  I also sometimes take two week astronomical holidays in
      southern France.
