Island of Tahiti

While in Bora Bora, French Polynesia for a University of California Radiology meeting (those UC Radiologists really know how to have a good time), I visited the three islands of Tahiti, Moorea and
Bora Bora.

Island of Bora Bora
Bora Bora lies 150 miles northwest of Tahiti in the Leeward Society Islands. Home to more than 4,000, it is the center of a multicoloured lagoon, surrounded by offshore motu islets inside a protective necklace of coral

Hotel Bora Bora.  As of 2006 these single room straw roofed over-the-water bungalows ranged from $600
to $800 a day (not including food).
